Pride Hour: LGBTQ+ Photoshoot

Event Details
Come be a part of an LGBTQ+ photo series! Professional photographer Kate Ferraro will take free portraits for their “FACES+” photo project to highlight the authentic faces of the LGBTQ+ community. Participants will also have the chance to discuss what their gender identity and/or sexual orientation means to them. Pride-themed photo props will be available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own! Participation in the photo project is not required to receive a portrait. Registration is required .

About the photographer :

Kate Ferraro (they/them) is a queer non-binary photographer and artist from South Jersey. They created FACES+ in 2019 as a way to represent the authentic faces of the LGBTQ+ community. Kate has been in photography for 10 years and currently works as a yearbook photographer. Outside of photo, they LOVE the band Twenty One Pilots and creating art with found objects. They live with their fiancée Lily, their cats Ramsey and Tuna, and their betta fish Issac.

Pride Hour is a monthly social hour and safe space for LGBTQ+ adults and their allies.
